Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.

The movie is being directed by Neill Blomkamp, who is best known for District 9. Additionally, the screenplay is by Jason Hall and Zach Baylin. More trailers and looks at the movie will surely be headed our way soon, especially with the movie releasing late in the summer.

Also at CES, the PlayStation 5 has sold 30 million units as confirmed by Jim Ryan tonight. Additionally, the PlayStation VR 2 will have 30 titles available at launch. Some of the titles launching with the PSVR2 include Resident Evil Village, No Man’s Sky, and Horizon: Call of the Mountain.
