During Jump Festa 2023, it was announced at the SPY x FAMILY panel that the series will receive a Season 2 and a movie, both out in 2023! For fans of the series, this is fantastic news!
The series creator, Tatsuya Endou, has drawn a commemorative visual to celebrate the movie’s announcement. Endou will write an original story for the movie, meaning it will be an anime original. Check out the announcement below!

It is unclear if Wit Studio and Cloverworks will animate Season 2 and the movie, but it seems incredibly likely that will be the case, as no studio change was announced at the event. Season 1 of SPY x FAMILY is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll. The first cour aired in Spring, starting in April. The second cour is just about to wrap up, with the last episode releasing next week. Here is a quick overview of the series:
