Nintendo announced the first Big Run for Splatoon 3 Chill Season takes place from December 9 to December 11 worldwide.
Players can expect a full scale Salmonid invasion at Wahoo World. Those who repel the Salmonids and collect Golden Eggs will be reward for their Big Run participation in Splatoon 3 Chill Season. The strongest performers during Big Run will receive an “extra-special” decoration to keep as a trophy for hunting down the Salmonids.
The official Splatoon Twitter account said, “Attention, employees! The first Big Run will take place from 4PM on 12/9 to 4PM on 12/11. Be careful! We are predicting an invasion at Wahoo World and must protect our profits people and way of life from the Salmonids. Do your part!”
“Mandatory follow-up! Your participation in the Big Run will be rewarded. Stop the Salmonids. Collect Golden Eggs. You will receive a special decoration—the strongest performers will receive an extra-special decoration! Do not fail us now.”
Unlike traditional Salmon Run, Big Run takes place on Turf War and Anarchy Battle stages. Salmon Run Next Wave is taken to a familiar Inkling and Octoling territory. Big Run is only around for a limited time, so players eager for extra rewards should participate during the event period.
Splatoon 3 is available now for Nintendo Switch, and Chill Season begins on December 1. Lastly, the version 2.0.0 update launches November 29 to prepare for the launch of Chill Season.
