Nintendo and Intelligent Systems released new details regarding Sigurd and his Emblem Ring in Fire Emblem Engage. Sigurd is also known as the Emblem of the Holy War.
As previously discussed, units that equip Sigurd’s Emblem Ring received enhanced mobility and additional skills in Fire Emblem Engage. These skills include Engage Skill: Gallop and Engage Skill: Override. Cavalry units receive an additional mobility bonus for equipping Sigurd’s Emblem Ring. During the battle preparation phase, players may sync an Emblem Ring with any unit of their choosing.

Sigurd’s Emblem Ring skills and abilities are listed below via Perfectly Nintendo:
- Sync Skill: Canter. Allows the unit to move again after attacking. This allows you to take advantage of beneficial terrain like bushes (which increase your Defense and Avoid stats) by moving the unit there immediately after attacking.
- Engage Weapon: Ridersbane. Deals extra damage to Cavalry units.
- Engage Skill: Gallop. Adds +5 to Movement, allowing you to move 5 spaces further than usual. With this skill, you can cover great distances in a single turn, which is pretty handy if you need to go and rescue a unit in trouble. If the unit wearing the Ring is a Cavalry unit, you get an additional +2 space bonus!
- Engage Skill: Override. Allows you to run through a (straight) line of enemies, dealing damage at the same time. This is pretty handy when enemies are conveniently lined up on the map!
Lastly, Fire Emblem Engage launches January 20, 2023 for Nintendo Switch.
