Located in Montenevera, Ryme is the Ghost-type Gym Leader of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The recommended level to face her is Level 42. Be sure to have a team with Pokémon around that level and some dark and ghost types.
Rymes’s Pokémon Team

- Toxtricity: Lvl 42 – Type: Electric/Poison – Moves: Discharge, Hex, Hyper Voice
Ghost and dark-type Pokémon are your friends in this battle. However, since ghost-type is weak to itself, you may not want to exhibit the recklessness it would take to use ghost-type Pokémon. It may be better to just use Pokémon that know ghost-type moves. Most of Rymes Pokémon, even the ghost-types, know ghost and even dark-type moves, ensuring that their weakness to fellow ghost-types is covered. Houndstone’s Play Rough attack is also sure to batter any Dark-type Pokémon you may have. As for Ryme’s Tera-type usage, she is very unique. Her Banette has a Steel-Tera type and her Toxtricity has a Ghost-Tera type. Banette having steel-type would make fairy-type Pokémon less effective against it, and Toxtricity with ghost-typing would remove its weakness to poison.
