    Final Fantasy XIV surpasses 27 million registered accounts

    Two million players joined since December 2021.

    Square Enix revealed Final Fantasy XIV surpassed 27 million registered accounts around the world, and Fan Festival 2023 – 2024 dates were announced.

    Final Fantasy XIV’s 27 million registered users were accumulated across the game’s five regions: Japan, North America, South America, China, and South Korea. The popular online RPG saw a two million player increase since December 2021, the launch month for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker.

    Square Enix also revealed Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.25 launches on Tuesday, October 18. The new update features Hildibrand quests, weapon enhancement quests, Omicron tribal quests, and much more. Players can expect patch notes shortly before the update launches.

    Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival returns in 2023 and 2024 with multiple grand events. Fan Festival comes first to Las Vegas, Nevada on July 28 – 29, 2023. In October 2023, the event comes to London, U.K.
