    US NPD: Switch was the best selling console in unit sales for July 2022

    US NPD results for the month of July 2022 reveals Nintendo Switch was the best selling console of the month once more.

    The PlayStation 5 continues to lead in dollar sales while Switch remains as the best selling console in unit sales. PS5 also led in hardware spending for the month of July and 2022 year-to-date according to the US NPD Group. However, Switch is still the highest selling console in unit sales for the month and entire year.

    Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was the best selling Switch game of July 2022 without tracking of digital sales. Additionally, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was tracked for just a few days due to its launch on July 29.
