    Switch reaches 111.08 million units worldwide

    Nintendo Switch Sports approaches 5 million units sold.

    Nintendo published its latest earnings release for Q1 FY2023 ending on June 30, 2022, announcing Nintendo Switch has sold 111.08 million units worldwide.

    3.43 million Switch units and 41.41 million software units were sold between April 1 through June 30 this year. Additionally, Nintendo updated its list of best selling first-party Switch games with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as the leading title with nearly 47 million copies sold.

    The top 10 best sellers list is available below:

    1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 46.82 million

    2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 39.38 million

    3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 28.82 million

    4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 27.14 million

    5. Pokémon Sword/Pokémon Shield – 24.50 million

    6. Super Mario Odyssey – 23.93 million

    7. Super Mario Party – 18.06 million

    8. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond / Pokémon Shining Pearl – 14.79 million

    9. Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!/Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! – 14.66 million

    10. Ring Fit Adventure – 14.54 million

    Nintendo also released sales figures for some of the latest Nintendo first-party games from 2022:

    Switch has sold 863.59 million software units as of June 30, 2022. The next date on Nintendo’s IR calendar is September 30, 2022, which is the day of Nintendo’s record date for interim dividends for the 83rd fiscal year.
