Asobu Indie Showcase 2022 announced for July 30

    Featuring over 80 different Japanese titles.

    Asobu announced its third-annual Asobu Indie Showcase is set for July 30, 2022, at 7 a.m. EDT with over 80 different Japanese indie titles.

    Asobu Indie Showcase will be streamed live in English and Japanese through the official Asobu YouTube and Twitch channels. The showcase clocks in at roughly two hours with a look into current and upcoming Japanese indie games. Localized Western indie titles will be shown at the showcase as well.

    Additionally, a new Asobu Steam event page will feature a number of demos and discounts for various titles shown during the showcase. The Steam event page goes live on July 30 following the premiere of the showcase. Asobu will host the Steam event until August 5.

    Sponsors for the event include Makers Fund, [email protected], PlayStation, Shueisha Games, iGi Indie Game Incubator, and Kowloon Nights.

    Stream links for Asobu Indie Showcase 2022 will be available on July 29, the day prior to the event. The full list of games featured at the show will be published at the premiere on July 30 through the official Asobu website.

    BitSummit X-Roads, the next major Japanese indie showcase, is set for August 6 through August 7 at the Kyoto International Exhibition Hall Miyakomesse.
