Square Enix announced HD-2D mobile RPG Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent collaborates with another HD-2D title, Triangle Strategy.
The Triangle Strategy collaboration will be held first in the Japanese version of Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent starting July 28. A character silhouette was teased for the Triangle Strategy collaboration and appears to be Serenoa Wolffort. Serenoa is the heir to House Wolffort and the main protagonist of Triangle Strategy.
Serenoa will likely appear as a 3-star character in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. Like other 3-star characters in the game, players may raise his quality to 5 stars. Square Enix plans to reveal more characters from Triangle Strategy soon.
Square Enix hosts an official Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent live stream on July 25 at 7 a.m. EDT with more details about the collaboration. Triangle Strategy producer Yasuaki Arai will be present as a special guest. Additionally, the live stream provides a new roadmap of upcoming content and more details about version 2.6.0.
Triangle Strategy is currently available now for Nintendo Switch. Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is available now for iOS and Android in Japan. Lastly, the global version launches on July 27 and pre-registration is live.
