Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness ‘Game System’ Trailer

Spike Chunsoft released a new trailer for Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness, showcasing the game system and modes.

Additionally, the company revealed the game’s ending song “light” by Riko Azuna. Azuna also performs the opening song “Katachi” for the Made in Abyss anime’s second season, Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun. “light” will be released as a B-side on the opening theme song CD single.

Azuna shared the following message for fans of Made in Abyss:

“This is Riko Azuna. As a fan of “Made in Abyss” I am truly honored to be performing the ending theme for Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness. On a long and endless adventure, Riko and her friends have strong hearts and keep moving forward. I sang the song with all my soul as if to guide the story so that the fleeting little light wouldn’t go out. Even after playing the game, you can still feel the vastness of the Abyss and the feelings of the adventurers that have been passed down from generation to generation. I hope you’ll be able to feel this when listening to the song “light”. I’m really looking forward to the day when you can play the game!”

Here’s an overview of the Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness alongside the new trailer:

About Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness
Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness is an Action RPG in which players themselves descend into the world of the Abyss and grow through their experience in its depths. The game, supervised by original series author Akihito Tsukushi, recreates the world of the Abyss in 3D, including battles with creatures, collecting relics, and “The Curse of the Abyss”. Fans are sure to enjoy the dark fantasy that remains true to the unique flavor of the original work.

The game offers two game modes. “HELLO ABYSS” is a story mode in which players can relive the story of the anime while learning the basic system and how to progress in the game. In “DEEP IN ABYSS,” players can enjoy an original story of a new Cave Raider, who takes on the challenge of exploring the depths of the Abyss. Many characters from Made in Abyss appear, and event scenes are fully-voiced by the cast of the anime.
