HoYoverse shared a new character demo video for Genshin Impact, providing a glimpse into Yelan and her playstyle. Yelan makes her debut as a Hydro vision bearer in Genshin Impact version 2.7. The highly anticipated update releases on May 31st with a new story chapter, events, and rewards to pursue. Additionally, Xiao makes his return in a reprised event wish with Yanfei, Barbara, and Noelle.

“It’s late. The residents sleep peacefully behind closed doors, listening to the pitter-patter of the heavy rain. Those fond of traveling at such times are either ill-intentioned, or secretly pursuing the former. It doesn’t matter who wins or loses. The rain will wash away all traces either way. When the dawn breaks and the sky clears, the mysterious guest would have been gone already, without a soul noticing.”
Genshin Impact version 2.8 releases later this summer following maintenance on July 13th. Version 2.7 will late roughly 6 weeks before the next version comes along with more new content. Genshin Impact is currently available now for PS4, PS5, iOS, Android, PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. Lastly, the Switch version of Genshin Impact is currently in active development and more details are coming soon.
