RWBY Ice Queendom anime premieres on July 3rd

    Rooster Teeth and Studio SHAFT announced that RWBY Ice Queendom premieres on Sunday, July 3rd at 22:30 JST! The RWBY Ice Queendom anime will air across multiple Japanese broadcasting networks such as TOKYO MX and MBS. Fans around the world may tune in through Crunchyroll and Rooster Teeth. Broadcast time and dates are subject to change.

    The official website was updated and revealed the anime’s opening theme, which is “Beyond Selves” by Void_Chords. The theme song will be released on July 27th for 1,430 yen (tax included). Special purchase bonuses such as an L size bromide and badge will be sold across multiple Japanese retailers. The full list of participating retailers is available here.

    The updated website now includes a character section with visuals, a short bio, and the Japanese voice cast. Fans and newcomers alike may catch up or reminisce on some of RWBY’s most popular characters such as Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang.

    Previously, Rooster Teeth confirmed that Vol. 1 and 2 will be recapped in the first two episodes of the anime. RWBY Ice Queendom will introduce new characters, Grimm, settings and surprises to come. The anime follows a traditional weekly schedule airing across Japan, Crunchyroll and Rooster Teeth.
