Square Enix files new trademark for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Square Enix filed a new trademark for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade in Japan as of May 12th, 2022. On May 19th, the trademark was made public worldwide.

The enhanced game is available now for PS5 and PC via Epic Games Store, but a trademark such as this could indicate an upcoming release. For example, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade could release in the near future for Xbox Series X|S and/or PC via Steam. However, this is best left up to speculation with the lack of confirmation.

Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary news is coming this June according to creative director Tetsuya Nomura. Producer Yoshinori Kitase previously stated his desire to share more Final Fantasy VII Remake news in 2022. A potential announcement regarding the series of remakes is expected.

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is expected to release by the end of September 2022. CyberAgent, parent company of game developer Applibot, confirmed the news during their recent fiscal year briefing. An announcement for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is also expected soon.

For those waiting on Final Fantasy XVI, the wait may be over soon as a new trailer is imminent. According to director Naoki Yoshida, a new trailer is complete and the game is in the polishing phase. Final Fantasy XVI is currently nearing the end of development.
