    Idea Factory announces Otomate Collection subscription service for Japan

    Idea Factory announced the Otomate Collection subscription service for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android in Japan. The service features otome visual novels, anime, and performances from Otomate IPs. These IPs include Hakuoki, Scarlet Fragments, and Amnesia. Idea Factory partnered with Hikari TV to launch the service.

    Subscriptions start at 858 yen a monthly, roughly $6.54 with tax included. Monthly payments are made through credit card or participating Japanese mobile phone providers. Android 14.0, iOS 14.0, MacOS X, and Windows 10 are minimum requirements to access the service. Subscribers should also have the latest version of browsers such as Safari and Google Chrome.

    More otome games and content are coming soon to the Otomate Collection. The first new additions will be the Nil Admirari visual novels on July 2nd. To celebrate the announcement of the service, fans in Japan can enter an Amazon gift card giveaway. The giveaway lasts until May 15th at 23:59 JST. 20 lucky winners will each receive 5,000 yen in Amazon credit, which is roughly $38.
