D3 Publisher announced that Earth Defense Force 6 releases on August 25th for PS4 and PS5 in Japan! A digital deluxe edition will be sold featuring the base game, Season Pass and bonuses. Pre-order bonuses will also be offered via the PlayStation Store such as “Reverse Core N-Type” Wing Diver support equipment.
Crossplay is supported between the PS4 and PS5 versions. In addition, Earth Defense Force 6 players on PS4 may upgrade to the PS5 version with native 4K support. First-print copies of the game feature decoy balloons in the form of popular V-Tubers:
- Ookami Mio
- Shirafumi Fubuki
- Nakiri Ayame
