    SEGA delists Sonic the Hedgehog 1 through 3 & Knuckles, Sonic CD on May 20th

    SEGA announced that Sonic the Hedgehog 1 through 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD will be delisted on May 20th. These versions will be replaced with the upcoming new release of Sonic Origins. SEGA Ages – Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2 and the Nintendo Switch Online version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will remain.

    SEGA announced today that the company will delist the digital versions of the stand-alone titles that will be featured in the upcoming game, Sonic Origins on May 20, 2022.

    This will include Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD. There are a couple of exceptions – Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 will remain available via SEGA AGES on the Nintendo Switch and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will still be playable via Sega Genesis on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

    Sonic Origins releases on June 23rd across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest gaming news and updates!
