Pokémon studio Game Freak announces optional 4-day work week system for employees

Pokémon studio Game Freak announced an optional 4-day work week system for employees. This work shift is intended for full-time employees with families and children to take care of. Employees who choose to work the 4-day work week will earn 80% on the standard 5-day work week salary.

Game Freak is also reportedly offering additional benefits to employees. The studio is just one of many in the gaming industry that are shifting toward more beneficial systems and work hours. The next game by Game Freak, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, releases later this year for Switch worldwide (Thanks, Gamesindustry.biz).
