Devil May Cry 5 surpasses 5 million copies sold worldwide

Capcom announced that Devil May Cry 5 surpassed 5 million copies sold worldwide. The milestone includes physical shipments and digital copies sold. However, the company did not specify whether these sales include the updated Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The game first released for PS4, Xbox One and PC via Steam on March 8th, 2019. The Special Edition version released with the respective launches of PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. With this amazing success and renewed interest in Devil May Cry, it’s only a matter of time before a new game in the series arrives.
