Kadokawa Games announced that the Root Letter mystery visual novel series surpassed 500,000 units sold! This total includes shipments and digital copies sold worldwide for Root Letter and Root Letter: Last Answer. The spiritual successor, Root Film, released in 2019 for PS4 and Switch worldwide.
