Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Rise surpassed 8 million copies sold across Switch and Steam! The Switch version surpassed 7 million copies sold in May 2021 and the Steam release in January 2022 helped boost the game past the 8 million mark. Capcom expects the playerbase to grow even further leading to the release of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak in summer 2022.
