Dragon Quest X Offline delayed to Summer 2022 in Japan

Square Enix announced via Famitsu that Dragon Quest X Offline has been delayed to Summer 2022 in Japan. The offline version of the popular Japanese online RPG will no longer release on February 26th. According to producer Takuma Shiraishi, the delay gives the development team more time to improve the overall quality of the game. As a result, Dragon Quest X Offline – The Sleeping Hero and the Guided Allies DLC is delayed to Fall 2022 as well. Shiraishi apologizes for the delay and hopes fans are excited for the RPG in Japan. More details and an exact release date will be provided next year.

Dragon Quest X Offline is coming to PS4, PS5, Switch and Steam in Japan. In the meantime, stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and updates!
