The next 10 years of Final Fantasy XIV is being prepared according to Naoki Yoshida

It’s already been 11 years since Final Fantasy XIV version 1.0 released and Square Enix is preparing for another decade to come. In the latest issue of Famitsu, director/producer Naoki Yoshida stated that the company is already making preparations for the next 10 years of Final Fantasy XIV content. The current story arc revolving around Hydaelyn and Zodiark concludes with Endwalker and Yoshida teases what comes directly after. With patch 6.1, a “mystery” will be revealed that leads into the story going forward. More details are included in the December 2nd issue of Famitsu. The future is looking bright for the vast player base!
