Previously, Toei Animation confirmed that Digimon Survive was being delayed into 2022 in their financials report. Bandai Namco confirmed the delay on their end as well. Digimon Survive is releasing in 2022 as the company allocates more time for development of the game. According to Producer Kazumasa Habu, the developers want to enhance the quality of the game in the extra development time.
