A recent Eidos Montreal playtest survey is fueling speculation as the Nvidia GeForce Now leak continues to remain relevant. The new playtest survey asks the user if they’ve played a game in the Final Fantasy Tactics series and Ogre Battle series respectively:
For those unaware, Final Fantasy Tactics was referenced in the Nvidia GeForce Now leak alongside confirmed games such as God of War for Steam and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. It’s quite possible that a new game in the Tactics series or inspired by Tactics could be in development but nothing is directly confirmed at this time. Eidos Montreal is currently owned by Square Enix through their subsidiary, Square Enix Europe, and most recently worked on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Lastly, the survey is available here.
