SEGA Sammy recently published their integrated report with data ending on March 2021 and updated sales figures for the Megami Tensei series (Thanks, Persona Central)! The Megami Tensei series surpassed 17.7 million products sold worldwide. These products include:
- Physical games such as Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster
- Digital games such as downloads for Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2 for iOS and Android
- Pachislot/pachinko machines
- Figures, clothing, etc.
These sales account for the period between March 2020 and March 2021 which was Atlus’ previous fiscal year. Additionally, they do not include sales from the Persona series. The Megami Tensei series sales have increased by 300,000 compared to the March 2019 – 2020 fiscal year. Atlus’ upcoming game, Shin Megami Tensei V, releases on November 12th worldwide for Switch.
