As spotted by Faizan Shaikh on Twitter and VGC, Virtuos is working on a new unannounced “AAA” action-adventure remake! According to lead programmer Zhiyang Li’s Linkedin page, the remake features 4K support, “set piece destruction” and high quality level art. The project has been in development for 3 years so far for multiple platforms and dates back to October 2018. Virtuos has worked on several games such as Dark Souls Remastered, The Outer Worlds, and Horizon Zero Dawn. It’s possible that the project could be the heavily rumored Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake but that’s still speculation at this time. Considering the development time of this new project, a reveal could not be too far off in the near future.
