Lost Judgment director Kazuki Hosokawa was recently interviewed at TheGamer and shared some interesting tidbits about the future of the Yakuza franchise! According to Hosokawa, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are looking into future Yakuza games taking place outside of Japan. Hosokawa states that they’re planning to use familiar characters for those games as well. For instance, Ichiban could have a reason to travel outside of Japan for a future Yakuza game. It will be very interesting to see what happens with the Yakuza franchise going forward as fans are already loving Ichiban as the new lead protagonist.
