Blizzard continues to face the music as more allegations are raised against the company for unsafe work environments, sexual harassment from former execs and employees, and a whole slew of issues. Earlier today, the company president J. Allen Brack stepped down from his position at the company. His 3 year tenure company came to an abrupt end today as the company faces more legal action. At the same time, higher ups at the company are not willing to meet employee demands for change and a safer, welcoming work environment. This is happening while thousands of employees across Activision/Blizzard are rallying together.
Blizzard is facing a second lawsuit today within the US District Court of Central California as investors are calling for responsibility from the company. According to this new class action lawsuit, the US District Court of Central California is suing Blizzard on behalf of investors for the following reasons:
- Failure to disclose ongoing problems in the company regarding discrimination and sexual harassment toward employees
- Artificial inflation of the company’s stock value
This specific lawsuit aims to seek damages from August 6th, 2016 to July 27th, 2021 when the allegations against Blizzard arose. Rosen Law Firm is handling the lawsuit and previously, they were the same firm in charge of the class action lawsuit against CD Projekt Red for the Cyberpunk 2077 train wreck.
