Sony released new beta firmware today for PS5! Update 2.0-0.4.00.00 is rolling out now for beta users on PS5. The new update includes unlocked support for the M.2 storage slot. Beta users can install a M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD into the PS5 ranging from 250 GB to 4 TB. Additionally, 3D audio is now supported through TV speakers! Settings are now available to fine tune the 3D audio experience to a user’s TV and room. Sorting PS4 and PS5 games in the console is also much easier now with the new update.
