Blizzard announced today that BlizzCon 2021 has been cancelled. This doesn’t come as a surprise considering the company doesn’t have much to show and the pandemic is still ongoing. In the meantime, Blizzard is planning a global event for early 2022 with an online show and small in-person gatherings. Blizzard wants to update fans on the event closer to the end of the year as it takes time to prepare for such events.
