EA has announced that the next Battlefield game, rumored to be titled BATTLEFIELD, will be getting revealed next month. Previously, it has been thought that the game would be getting its reveal trailer in early May, however it seems that this time slot has shifted to June, which is luckily not too far away.
EA confirmed on the conference call today that Battlefield reveal will indeed be in June, as per the hint in this tweet. https://t.co/qAzqxpt2DT

EA also confirmed in their conference call today that the game will be headed to both PS4/Xbox One & PS5/Xbox Series X|S. The game will be available on PC too, of course. This may come as a disappointment to some expecting a full on next generation experience, so hopefully EA & DICE offer some great next-gen features for the PS5 & Xbox Series X|S versions of the game.
If you've seen comments saying the game is "Next gen only", that's incorrect.
"A true next generation game" is a marketing term.
The game will release both on last generation consoles and the current (next) generation of consoles.
