Switch surpasses the Famicom’s lifetime sales in Japan

The latest sales numbers from Famitsu are here and the Switch reached a major milestone in Japan! The console surpassed 19.4 million units sold in the country which surpasses that of the original Famicom system (19.35 million). The next console in line is the PlayStation Portable at 19.69 million sold in Japan. The Switch follows success parallel to the PS2 and PSP with big titles like Monster Hunter Rise pushing sales.
