Microsoft announced that free-to-play games on Xbox platforms no longer require Xbox Live Gold! This means players without the membership can play games like Fortnite, Apex Legends and more on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It was a long time coming for this decision and we are glad it finally happened.
