The PS5 is off to an amazing start as its become the fastest selling console in US history for both dollar sales and unit sales during launch. This accounts for sales during a 5 month launch period from November to March by the US NPD. Even with this success, the Switch took 1st place for unit and dollar sales in the month of March 2021.
