Nintendo released update 12.0.0 for Switch recently and it fixes a pesky bug involving save data backups. It fixes a “communication error” issue where automatic save data backups would be interrupted. Luckily, that issue is now fixed so players should update their firmware.
We fixed the issue with the save data backup feature, where in rare cases, the automatic backup of save data is interrupted if a communication error occurs during completion of the save data backup process.
