The latest issue of Type-Moon Ace revealed the release date for Tsukihime Remake! The remake releases on August 26th for PS4 and Switch in Japan. Unfortunately, the game seems to not be a worldwide release like Melty Blood Type Lumina is. The remake features only the Arcueid and Ciel routes but the content of each route is double that of the original. Fans of the original can expect both old and new content to spice things up in the remake. With voice acting, the game has nearly 45 hours of content. Author Kinoko Nasu says the Far Side routes of the original Tsukihime will be discussed at a later date.

Tsukihime Remake has been in the works for a long time. In fact, ufotable created the OP for the remake during production of the Heaven’s Feel 2 film. The game is aiming for a Cero Z rating to ensure faithfulness to the original game. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and support us over on Patreon!
