Half-Life: Alyx sent a positive ripple inside of Valve according to Gabe Newell. In fact, the company is currently working on “several new games” with a new focus on single-player experiences. Newell says that Alyx created “a lot of momentum” inside the company to create more games. As expected, Newell doesn’t confirm another return to Half-Life or Portal for the time being. Fans can still expect some more 1st party games to come from Steam in the near future though!
In the meantime, fans will have to wait while Valve develops the games currently on their roadmap. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest gaming news and updates!
