*Update* In a PR email, Capcom stated:
Beginning tonight in North America and offered throughout the month of January, a Monster Hunter Rise demo will be available as a free download from the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch™, serving hungry hunters around the world their first taste of the highly-anticipated new entry in the storied franchise.
This should clear any confusion surrounding the release date of this demo, since the presentation and social channels were saying different dates.

Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Rise will be receiving a demo for the Nintendo Switch starting tonight, January 7th. The demo, which features online co-op, will be available to play and download off the Nintendo eShop until February 1st, 2021. You can check out the brand new trailer for the demo below!
