Masashi Kishimoto is returning to the series that started his whole career with Naruto’s successor, Boruto! He will be returning as the scriptwriting lead starting with Boruto chapter 53. Ukyo Kodachi was working with the entirety of the Boruto series since chapter 1, all the way to chapter 52. The official statement below thanks Kodachi for all his work leading up to this point:
