In a new interview with Nikkei, Capcom President Haruhiro Tsujimoto spoke about Monster Hunter Rise’s development. According to Tsujimoto, Capcom wanted to release Monster Hunter Rise earlier but the coronavirus pandemic pushed the game to March 26th. The pandemic had paused development for a month but Capcom expects the game to do very well regardless. Pre-orders for the game are high and matches Capcom’s expectations.
