Bluepoint Games’ Creative Director David Gavin spoke with LevelUp and confirmed some new details for Demon’s Souls for PS5. Demon’s Souls won’t support ray tracing on PS5 according to Gavin and provides his reason behind why. Here’s what he had to say, courtesy of GamingBolt:

“It’s like any other graphical improvement, there is a cost [to implement ray tracing]. If we had implemented ray tracing in the game, that would mean that we would have had to leave something out. There is a limited time in game development.”
