Insomniac Games have confirmed some news for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remaster coming to PS5, although its not good news. First, the game does not support save data transfers from the original PS4 release to the PS5 remaster. In addition, there are no plans for a physical release of the game as well. The PS4 version will not have a next-gen upgrade either as Insomniac is treating the remaster as a new release of the game.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales releases this holiday for PS5. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news!
