Yes, you read that right. At first it was Tetris 99, and now Super Mario Bros. is getting a battle royale format with Super Mario Bros. 35.
In a match of 35 players, you as Mario play against Mario, and Mario, and Mario, and so on and so forth in a hectic twist on the classic NES title. Enemies you defeat will be sent to whatever player you’re targeting and vice versa, and you can use coins in an item roulette to gain power-ups. Become the last Mario standing to win.
Super Mario Bros. 35 will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online members on October 1st, 2020, and will be playable until March 31st, 2021. In the meantime, stay tuned with Final Weapon for more on Japanese gaming news and updates!
