Nintendo is holding a Management Briefing Session on September 16th, will not include announcements for games or services; fuels speculation for events to happen prior

Nintendo has some plans for September but it’s nothing fans would be interested in. According to David Gibson, Nintendo is holding a Management Briefing Session on September 16th in Tokyo. However, it will not include announcements relating to games or services. Fans should not expect any gaming news to come out of this event.

This is fueling speculation for events to happen prior though. Various people in the industry including Tom Phillips from Eurogamer and Doctre81 have implied that Nintendo will reveal news before September 16th. This should still be regarded as speculation. Nintendo has held directs in September each year but that remains to be seen for a turbulent year like 2020. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and updates!
