Sea of Thieves has reached a new milestone since its rocky launch. The game has now surpassed 15 million players and is seeing about 3.3 million daily users.
A lot of the recent success could come from its recent launch on Steam, where we have seen huge interest with over 1 million copies sold so far and appearing in the top selling and most played charts. You could also give Xbox Game Pass some credit as well.
Back in January of 2020, it was just announced that Sea of Thieves reached 10 million players, so seeing a huge 5 million increase in just 5-6 months is pretty incredible. Congratulations to Rare on this amazing achievement!
