Nintendo is planning to increase the amount of Switch stock available around the world, even during the coronavirus outbreak. According to a report by Nikkei, the company wants to increase Switch production by 10% this year compared to 2019. Coronavirus is affecting supply chains and production so this will prove to be a challenge. A Nintendo representative added further to the production report:
“We hope [suppliers] will be responsive to the production increase, but for procurement of some parts, the outlook remains uncertain, and we can’t forecast exactly how many Switches can be supplied.”
