Platinum Games has announced that they have entered a capital alliance with Tencent! With this agreement, Tencent is investing in the company and Platinum Games will still remain independent. In addition, management will be led by a conventional management team. Management at Platinum will not be changing as a result. The investment will strengthen their current management base and allow for growth in the following areas:
- Game development
- Self-publishing business endeavor
- Continue to push industry standards with high quality titles
