Final Fantasy VII: Remake will be a 1 year timed exclusive to PS4

This really shouldn’t come as a surprise if you’ve been following the FF7 Remake since it was announced. At E3 2015, the reveal trailer already stated that you would be able to play it first on PS4. Since then it was unknown how long the exclusivity deal would last, thankfully that has changed now.

Thanks to an updated box art for North America, it confirms that it will be a PlayStation exclusive until March 3, 2021. FF7 Remake is a multi part game so naturally it seems like Square will be sprinkling parts throughout 2020. Wouldn’t be a surprise if they announce a PC and XBO version by then.
