Thanks to Mat Piscatella, we have NPD results for October 2019. Fighting games have reached an all time high in sales thanks to Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Mortal Kombat 11. 2019 has beaten the previous all time high in 2015 by 11%, a year which saw both Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS and Mortal Kombat X sell strongly.
Fighting games should bring more success in the coming year, although it will be hard to beat the monumental sales year of 2019. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest gaming news and updates!
